Itinerary
We'll pick you up at your hotel or guest house at 8:00am and take you to Muang-Mai local market to purchase bananas & sugar cane to feed the elephants. After which, we'll travel approximately an hour before arriving at Baan Chang Elephant Training School.
Upon arrival, you will receive instructions in the basics of elephant training theory from experienced trainers. After which, you will apply what you have learned and begin bonding with your elephant. You will interact with the elephant under the supervision of an experienced trainer and learn how to ride, guide and feed the elephant properly while sitting on the top of it.
After this, we will break for lunch at the Thai restaurant. After lunch you will train and guide the elephant for approximately 2 hours, in the forest. You will also receive instructions on guiding elephants into the river for bathing, followed by an actual bathing session with your elephant. During which time, the tour guide will take you photo.
After the elephant bathing session you will rest with the prepare tea, coffee and water waiting for you. At 5 pm. we will say farewell to your elephant and the Baan Chang Elephant Training School, and we will return you to your hotel or guest house in Chiang Mai.

4. Confirming your holiday
Once your holiday itinerary has been agreed we will ask you to pay the relevant deposit, if applicable, or full payment if your holiday is departing within 14 weeks of booking. You will then receive your full confirmation, payment receipt and ATOL certificate via email within 24 hours of booking.
