Australia’s capital city, Canberra, was purpose-built to cater for the nation’s political seat. Its location was chosen as a compromise between rival cities Sydney and Melbourne. Canberra is also the location for numerous social and cultural organizations which hold national significance such as National Gallery, Australian War Memorial and Australian National University. The modern architecture is striking and the layout most impressive.
Points of Interest:
Visit the historic township of Berrima in the Southern Highlands for morning tea (own expense).
Enjoy the panoramic views of Canberra and surrounds from the summit of Mt. Ainslie.
Visit the Australian War Memorial on a guided tour.
Hear the history of the ANZACs as we travel along the boulevard dedicated to the participants of all conflicts.
Take a guided tour of the new hands on, state of the art National Museum or the National Gallery of Australia (subject to current exhibitions).
Visit the spectacular billion dollar Parliament House for a private guided tour.
Have the opportunity to view the upper or lower Houses of Parliament if in session.

Cancellation: 4 days prior 50% penalty. 2 day prior 100% penalty. No show always 100% penalty.
Any child under the minimum child age will travel free of charge and they will have to sit on their parents lap, if you prefer that the child has their own seat then you will have to pay the child fare.
Complete information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, will be included on your Confirmation Voucher.
