Come and experience the mystery of the Mayan World. Discover Coba and Chimuch. Coba is an ancient Mayan village in the state of Quintana Roo. In its day, Coba was home to over 50,000 inhabitants. Coba had gained economic control over the region, trading extensively with other Mayan communities in what today is known as, Mexico, Belize and Honduras. The only access to this once commercial city was through rough stone and plaster roads, known in Mayan as “sacbe”.
Surrounded by two large lagoons, Coba boasts archeological wonders and is home to the tallest Mayan pyramid in the Yucatan region: the Nohoch Mul Pyramid, which rises an impressive 140 feet (42 meters) above the rainforest floor. You can climb all the way to the top and enjoy panoramic views of the miles of jungle that surrounds this archeological site.

Participant restrictions
This expedition is not suitable for people with heart problems, severe physical and motor handicap.
It is not suggested for oversized people (over 264 pounds) or people who are not able to handle physical activity.
It is definitely not recommended for pregnant women.
Children under the age of 6 years old, may participate under the responsibility and direct supervision of a responsible parent or family member.
People under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be allowed to participate in this expedition.
Additional Information
Please wear comfortable shoes to walk in the jungle, swim wear, extra T-shirt, towel, camera and extra cash for tips, pictures and souvenirs.

4. Confirming your holiday
Once your holiday itinerary has been agreed we will ask you to pay the relevant deposit, if applicable, or full payment if your holiday is departing within 14 weeks of booking. You will then receive your full confirmation, payment receipt and ATOL certificate via email within 24 hours of booking.
