Submerge yourself in one of the most beautiful and clear waters of the world: The Mexican Caribbean. These crystal clear waters are the home to one of the largest underwater museums on the planet, located in Cancun, Quintana Roo, Mexico. Forming this museum you will find a series of underwater sculptural installations all sited within the protected National Marine Park, of the Yucatan Peninsula, Mexico.
Divers and snorkelers will have the opportunity to admire more than 400 original sculptures in depths ranging from 9 to 20 feet. The artist behind the project, British Artist Jason de Caires Taylor offers a contemporary and cultural view of how the Mayan people have evolved throughout the years in “The Silent Evolution”; he has gained international recognition for this unique work.
Environmentally Friendly! The sculptures are all designed to become artificial reefs and are constructed from special materials, which promote marine life and create areas for corals to flourish and marine creatures to breed and take refuge, boosting the local ecosystem. You cannot miss it!

Hours of operation
Available Monday to Saturday departing at 9:30am. Please check-in at the Marina at least 30 minutes prior to departure.

Departs from Aqua World Marina located in front of the Gran Melia Cancun.
Participant restrictions
Children must be at least 11 years of age to participate.
This activity is not recommended for people with sinus problems, high blood pressure, Diabetes, serious heart problems, over size people or for those who suffer from claustrophobia or do not know how to swim.
It is also not recommended for pregnant women.
People under the effects of alcohol or drugs will not be allowed to participate in this activity.
Additional Information
Do not forget: Swimwear, towel, comfortable clothing and shoes, biodegradable sunscreen and underwater camera.
